Re-Installation and Downloads

How can I re-download and install SpyBuster after a reformat, system change, ect?

Contact our support department with your product key included in the email, your order ID and email address, and a representative will reply with your requested information.

Error Messages

SpyBuster alerts me that there has been a fatal error, database error, or activation error. What can I do to fix this?

Contact a support agent with the description of the problem, actions done before and after it happened, and any attempts you made to fix it. Also try and provide an error number if the program prints one.

SpyBuster will not let me activate the software because my key is currently in use. How can I reset my key?

Provide a customer support representative with your product key, purchase date and order ID, and reason for reactivation.

Scanning and Cleaning Issues

Some objects are not cleaned after removal / After SpyBuster cleaned the objects, when I restart my computer I receive error messages saying "Cannot Find Shortcut."
Consult your help file for information regarding this issue, why it occurs, and how to solve it.

Submit New Definitions

Do you notice a strange program on your machine and have no idea what it does? Do you think you are infected with an adware or spyware program that SpyBuster is not detecting?

Please send an email to submit@nitrousonline.com with the description of the program, and any information on where you obtained it (if applicable). Our detection officials will contact you within a few business days and ask for more information and possibly a copy of the program.
